Emily believes that living in Santa Fe is a dream many people share, that one visit can turn into many, each further igniting a passion for being here all the time. Then, as now, any dream about Santa Fe is all about lifestyle change. In its 402nd year, Santa Fe remains a global destination with a solid local real estate market, which is now more varied and exciting than ever. In up and down markets, Emily knows how to find buyer opportunities and create selling strategies. The majority of her clients come from referrals or the internet. They are proactive and web savvy, often searching for homes or market information online first alone. When it comes to the act of buying or selling, they want a competent, experienced advocate who listens to them and negotiates on their behalf. They want a professional who understands economics, who can explain local stats and market trends and acts with a positive approach. In the end, they want someone who can deliver their dream. Emily grew up in New Britain, Connecticut, as a second generation American learning about communication, networking and customer service in her grandfathers' corner stores. Graduating summa cum laude from American University, she went on to study economics there with a graduate fellowship. She began her first company on the steps of the U.S. Capitol as a street photographer using a Polaroid camera. After mentoring with Ansel Adams, she launched a new company with an office in the Watergate. There, she created advertising campaigns and strategic marketing for global companies such as Marriott Resorts, Grey Advertising, EDS, Polaroid and Hill & Knowlton, to name a few. Then she took a risk. In 1994, she relocated to Santa Fe after living in a restored 1870s Victorian home on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for a quarter of a century. When you know Santa Fe is in your future and want a Realtor who understands lifestyle change, relocation and knows Santa Fe real estate, kindly text or email Emily. Google her name to find her extensive presence on the web and many of her blogs. You will find her active on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Plus and as a Santa Fe Ambassador on ActiveRain. |
